Who we are

Spidee.ai is operated by Spidee Pty Ltd (ACN 698 234 589), a website design and build service for small businesses based in Australia. If you have questions about how we handle your information, email us at hello@spidee.ai.

What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you use our service:

• Contact details — your name and email address when you sign up or contact us.
• Business information — your business name, industry, location, and other details you share in our intake form. We use this to generate your website.
• Payment information — billing details when you subscribe to publish your site. We do not store your card number or payment credentials. All payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor (see below).
• Usage data — basic analytics about how you use our site (pages visited, time spent). This helps us improve the service. We use privacy-friendly tools that do not track you across other websites.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Generate and deliver your website.
• Communicate with you about your project (status updates, questions, revisions).
• Process your payment and manage your subscription.
• Send you occasional product updates or offers — you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Improve our service over time.

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use your business details to train AI models for sale to others.

Payment data

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. When you pay, your card details go directly to that processor — Spidee.ai never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or expiry date.

Our payment processor is PCI-DSS compliant and handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.

Who we share your information with

We only share your information with third parties when necessary to run the service:

• Payment processor — to process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Cloud hosting & storage providers — to securely store your account and project data and host your website.
• Email delivery provider — to send you transactional emails (e.g. design ready, site live).
• AI providers — to generate your website from the details you provide.

These providers process your data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or stop using the service, we retain your data for up to 2 years in case you return or have a billing question.

After that period, or on your request, we delete your personal information from our systems.

Your rights and deletion requests

You have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you.
• Request a copy of your data.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal data.

Deleting your account yourself. You can delete your websites and your account directly in the app, without emailing us: delete each of your sites from its settings page, then close your account from the billing page. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period — you can change your mind by replying to the confirmation email — after which your sign-in, profile and personal data are permanently erased. Records of payments you made are kept, with your personal details removed, as bookkeeping and tax law require; your receipts remain available from our payment processor.

For anything else — or if you prefer the email route for deletion — email hello@spidee.ai with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 14 days.

Cookies

Our marketing site uses minimal cookies for analytics. Our app (app.spidee.ai) uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and using reputable infrastructure providers. No system is 100% secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will email you. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
