Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 June 2026
Who we are
Spidee.ai is operated by Spidee Pty Ltd (ACN 698 234 589). We use AI tools to create websites for small businesses. These terms cover your use of our service at spidee.ai and app.spidee.ai.
What we provide
When you sign up, you tell us about your business. We use that information to generate website designs for you to review, edit, and preview — for free. You can change any text yourself or ask our AI to refine the design, at no charge. You only pay when you are ready to publish your site online.
- Free — build, edit, and preview your site as much as you like. No payment or card required.
- Publish & go live (A$79/month) — we publish your site to your own web address (a domain such as yourbusiness.com.au), host it, and keep it online for as long as your subscription is active. Cancel any time.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing your payment details you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your card number or payment credentials — those stay with Stripe.
The Publish & go live plan is a subscription that renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us at hello@spidee.ai. Cancellation stops future charges; your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens if you cancel: when your subscription ends, your site is unpublished and taken offline, and we stop maintaining the associated domain. You can re-subscribe at any time to put it back online. You can also export your site content (HTML, CSS, and copy) before you cancel — see Intellectual property below.
Refund policy
Building and previewing your site is free, so you are only ever charged once you choose to publish. Because you can build and preview the entire site at no cost before paying, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial months. To avoid a future charge, cancel before your next renewal date — you will keep access until the end of the current paid period.
If there is a genuine billing error (e.g. you were charged twice), contact us within 14 days and we will fix it. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your responsibilities
To get the best result, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your business when filling in the intake form.
- Own or have the right to use any content (text, images, logos) you supply to us.
- Not use the service for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer or copy our platform or processes.
If the information you provide is inaccurate and it affects the website we build, any rework may be charged separately.
Portfolio and examples
We may use your completed website as a portfolio example — to show potential clients what we can build. This means we might display a screenshot or link to your site on spidee.ai or in our marketing.
If you would prefer we do not use your site as an example, just email us at hello@spidee.ai and we will remove it. No questions asked.
Intellectual property
You own the content of your website — the HTML, CSS, and copy generated for you. You can export it at any time, and you keep it even if you cancel your subscription. We retain no ongoing rights to the site content itself.
We retain ownership of the underlying tools, templates, hosting setup, and processes we use to build and run it. Hosting and keeping your site online is part of your active subscription, not a transfer of our platform.
Limitations
We do our best to deliver a great website, but we cannot guarantee that it will achieve specific business outcomes (e.g. a certain number of leads or sales). Results depend on many factors outside our control.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will email you. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in Australian courts.
